Smart power moves by GBP, Showtime, and ultimately Mayweather, but HBO will always be my favorite channel to watch boxing in. Showtime just has that second tier feeling to it every time I watch it. When Mayweather retires, that network will probably go to ****.

word!!! its like I'm watching some B grade TV channel. always feels minor league. And the mma guy who does the fights juswt yaps and yaps and wont shut the **** up. SHowtime needs better production and a boxing guy doing fights.

Canelo didn't do better number against Trout then Cotto, Cotto remains the 3rd biggest draw after 1. Mayweather & 2. Pacman, but Broner is 4th and is creeping up for 3rd since his numbers are higher then Canelo. Chavez Jr & Canelo could be tied in 5th unless I am missing someone...

Canelo Made 1.4 million viewers with Josesito Lopez a complete missmatch, and compeating with JCC Jr. vs Martinez and people in here say he has less impact than Broner??? sold 40K tikets vs Trout I think he got 1.3 mill.

The inportant thing is that them young guys are bringing the #s

This not only shows Broner being a star but it shows that SHO is a huge player in boxing now. No longer does it feel like SHO gets the second rate fights and if HBO doesn't get their **** together SHO will eventually pass them. 1.3 is really strong for SHO, who has a much lower amount of subscribers. To me it really shows that a lot more people that have SHO have it for boxing. Might continue to see SHO invest in the sport and really take over.
