The Big money fights for Floyd are Manny, Khan, Broner, and potentially Garcia/Matthyse winner. Ideally, Khan beats Alexander and Pac beats Rios then Garcia/Matthyse winner move up to Welterweight next spring so they can potentially fight Floyd next fall or in the Spring of 2015.

Worst case for Floyd is Khan and Manny losing this winter.

Khan better look good if he beats Alexander or else ppl will see it as a cherry pick for floyd. The whole reason people started getting interested in a floyd vs Khan match was cause Khan was looking good till the Garcia match. After that he just hasn't looked that good and impressive.

Garcia vs Matthyse winner, will be a good fight but they will need to promote either guy more cause they not that well known outside boxing circles.

We all know the only way Pac fights Floyd is if he leaves Bob. Unfortunately that seems unlikely but you never know.

In terms of REAL competition for Floyd, I just don't see much. Manny maybe, if he can come back strong, but other than that, I think we're going to be watching the Harlem Globetrotter of Boxing as Mayweather winds down his career over the next few years. In other words, for me, it won't really be about the competition as much as it will be about adding "names" to Floyd's resume and of course dollars to his bank account. Canelo, Khan, Manny, Broner, Sergio, Garcia/Matthyse winner are the ones who fit the criteria whereas the Devon Alexander's of the world simply do not.

Khan is still a choice for September; cause Ramadan falls into different months each year next year I believe it starts in June.

why would he still be fightin on the may-sep weekends? i wanna see mexican americans get good paychecks with the support of the huge latino crowds that show up. floyd is a great defensive boxer but im tired of seeing him on the mexican holidays.
