Brook and Berto, if Berto beats Karass, fight in December too. The winners of Brook-Berto and Khan-Alexander fight in April/May 2014, than who ever comes out of that will fight Floyd in September 2014.
But we have to eliminate khan from sept due to ramadan. Khan is only viable in May.

I think Broner or garcia/matts gets September unless Cotto has a MW belt.

True Forgot about that. Of course if Khan came out of that, Floyd may even postpone September till November or December like he did against Hatton.

yeah right. CBS President Leslie Moonves is doing whatever he can to beat HBO. Floyd isn't hurting showtime one bit.

right now showtime has floyd, broner and Canelo and they had wlad in the audience (which suggests they may air a fight) in brooklyn. while they lost money on the 1st fight they will more than make up for it with this fight.

floyd and showtime could sell more than 2.5 mil ppv's this year. Thats not losing.

Matthysse hands him his first loss. The only way the momentum and possibility of Lucas whipping Floyd happens is if Danny boy takes his ass whuppin like a man. I hate that if Danny ducks Lucas he can't get that Floyd fight.

yeah that makes sense too because Chavez Jr will likely be back and then and he and Canelo can fight over the date.

I like Lucas now, he's legit, no doubt about it. But he's not f**king with Floyd. I'd still like to see the fight if Lucas beats Garcia though. I still think that fight happens. Garcia knows he has nowhere to go but Lucas.

A 12m loss, if true, if probably a record in the business. String 2 of those a year, and they might as well shut down shop. Their entire yearly budget is 28m! If they got 12m to spare on boxing, they should have sunk it in the budget and blown HBO out of the water.

The other is his dad is back and he talks non stop about how there is no way you will be as good as you can be if you arent active. They think Floyd will be even better if he fights on a regular basis. This is also the best way to offset him getting older

                    I'm convinced Ellerboo is fruity.

Good news though. I am calling a Canelo rematch.

the reason they lost so much is lack of promotion by floyd. they are rectifying that now with the promotional blitz for Canelo and the slow build with Broner. Its no different than floyd buying out his TR contract for 750k then a year+ later making $25 mil for ODH.

Long term they will be ok, although what would really help them is a show like the sopranos or the wire that will increase subscriptions in a huge way.
