It's arrogance the reason HBO is still butthurt, they are supposed to have everyone sucking up to them so now their pride is hurt.
I think its too early to say who is winning. Showtime has put on really good fights so far. But HBO still has more subscribers. Problem is HBO's 3 biggest names-manny, chavez and ward-are all out for an extended time.

Lol at Showtime being the power house. They just lost 15 million dollars on their last big show. They are nothing compared to hbo, gb suffering too, most likely Showtime have little money left after the Floyd flop for the year, so gb run back to hbo and now git told

At this point it feels like HBO are the international boxing station.

They've done shows from Argentina and the UK already this year with China coming up and cover foreign fighters like Golovkin, Martinez, Pacquiao, Chavez, Kessler, Geale and Froch.

and other than Martinez, Pac, and Chavez(3 guys HBO has put a lot of time and effort into), they are pulling awful ratings. HBO is still upset about what happened but they're making a big mistake if they feel they can shut out Golden Boy. HBO needs to swallow their pride and stop cutting off basically half of the best fighters in the world(top rank having half the pie and golden boy the other). Also, without domestic fighters they will lose. Americans want to see Americans fight. HBO needs to get back to Haymons good side or else SHO is gonna reap the benefits of number stars like Broner and Mayweather. Clearly a Hopkins/Stevenson matchup will do much better numbers than Degale/whoever.

                      Awful ratings?

That's showtime boxing on the regular. They have yet to break 1 million average viewers this year. HBO regularly breaks it don't they?
