Showtime Rejected Kovalev vs Hopkins. Why? I have no idea as Golden Boy and Main Events have worked together before. This rejection makes no sense at all. I have a su****ion though it is not really Showtime, but Golden Boy not looking to risk losing one of their belts to an OUTSIDER.

HBO Rejected Stevenson vs Hopkins. Why? Well there are direct politics involved. We all knew that would be difficult. It is not fair to Stevenson though, HBO should waiver him to at least fight on Showtime once with the option of coming back if HBO desires.
