DeGale stood off too much in that fight. I don't think he expected Groves to run so much and his incompetent corner didn't give him any sound advice so the fight was a lot closer than it should have been.

Froch is not standing off Groves for one second and Ugly Kid is not exactly Dirrell in the defence department. It's a tricky style for Froch but he'd eventually hunt him down and put him to sleep.

lol. george hits hard also. if froch feels george's power whats to say that froch won't back up a little? to say froch will not back off in any part of the fight is insane.

If someone like Bute couldn't get Froch to back up, Groves won't. Who has he hurt apart from bums? He doesn't throw enough punches, it will be an Adam Booth "run 'n' feint" fest.

Groves' only hope is to box on the run and frustrate Froch. If he stands toe-to-toe, he'll get KTFO.

I don't agree Groves won that fight on my scorecard by 3 rounds - Groves frustrated Degale through the fight Degale only had one one game plan and could'nt adjust when needed to - so thats the 2nd time Groves beat Degale - 2-0 is pretty much a good record. - Groves does have the ability to cause an upset against Froch but his game plan has to be spot on on the other hand Degale would be KO'D by Froch as he loves the ropes even in his last fight he still got caught on the ropes and if that was Froch it would have been lights out.

It's the second time Groves has been gifted a decision. Frustrating someone is not winning a fight. DeGale landed the majority of the clean punches and hurt Groves. Groves fought better than expected and DeGale underperformed. Groves got the sympathy vote from the judges.

Man Calzaghe is really hoping someone can beat Froch and help get his self esteem back up.
