Im not hating. Im just responding to him saying that how no one can carry power from that small until now like Pac just because he KO Morales. Morales himself started off at smaller weights so its not like he KO a guy like Chaves who has been at 130 his whole career. Thats all Im saying -
Originally posted by masterdirectorWhat about Trinidad? He knocked the LIVING **** out of William Joppy and Cherifi. And Mayorga. I'd say he increased in power. Yeah he didn't knock out Hopkins or Wright, but that's because they both totally outboxed him and didn't let him hit them. Hopkins has a great chin anyhow and is used to middleweight shots. Or are you saying Trinidad is an example? It isn't clear from your wording.
It depends on the fighter who can pack on muscle and power. Zab seemed to add power when he moved to welterweight. His punches were definitely more powerful than 140.
I can't name many smaller guys because unfortunately I don't know very much about a lot of them, due to the fact of VERY limited US exposure. But, I know muscle is muscle. Adding muscle would increase your strength and your weight at the same time. But, muscle obviously isn't the only thing there is to power punching. Speed and the type of punch also play important roles. And counters are usually the most effective punches.
^ya but those guys had a good base and were not tiny...tito was cutting to 147 and boxed mainly at 147 most of his career and walked around weighing 175 this is fact.
so he was the bigger guy.
Oscar is the only other guy but he wasnt known for devastating power but he did come up from super featherweight 130 pounds all the way up to 160. impressive.Comment

if my counting was right, only 4 experts here who predicted/or lean on a pac victory. but none of them said it could be a ko.Originally posted by dep_violatorExperts? Those experts are going home with a bag full of beans in their ass.
this victory proved them wrong. but hey, anyone could be wrong so let's just forget about it, cheers!!Comment

What Im saying is that dude was bragging on how Pac is super because he carried his power from 106 to 130 and I said its not that special because Morales wasnt a true 130 pounder. We still dont know if Pacs power is super at 130 unless he can stop a guy like ChavesOriginally posted by LS-InjectionI didn't really catch that!Comment
