Very simple. Just compare the top 5 wins for Pacquiao vs the top 5 wins for Mayweather and its obvious which legacy is better.

When Pac agreed the (floyd's) testing time table, floyd said that he doesn't want to have a deal with the one who sued him. When the libel suit was set aside, floyd said that he should have the lion share because he is greater than, Ali, Leonard, Robinson, hades and zeus. When Pacquiao challenged him to a "winner take all" floyd shut himself up for a while. When pacquiao suffered a legit loss courtesy of arch-rival JMM, floyd open again his mouth, at first w/ a lil tone of sympathy then there goes tons of typical mockery. When asked if the fight would still happen, he said that Pacquiao must get pass through bradley, JMM...medusa and the kraken first.
Obviously, there has been somebody ducking somebody and it's clearer than a high noon. All you need to do is to pull your head out from somebody's colon to see it.Comment

You really believe that the man who was badly beaten in most (if not each and every) rounds and walked his way out on a wheel chair wins he fight. Wow..you must be a very honest man that think that boxing is entirely an honest sports and the judges are without blemish. I mean..WOW!Comment

I'm not talking about giving anybody titles. I'm talking about Pac have his balls massaged for fighting all these "bigger" guys. As you've said, everyone progresses in weight as they age. And since Pac and Floyd are linked together, I simply stated that Floyd, at 16, was fighting at the same weight as Pac. Doesn't matter whether it was as an amatuer or a pro. Now, I'm assuming that neither hit puberty when they were 30. But outside of that, I don't see how Pac fighting as a welter or jr middle is any bigger deal than Floyd doing it.Comment

Not ALL filipinos. I've been into Boxing since I was a little boy watching it with my Pops. Not just the big fights or the hype games either. I've sat, watched and studied the amateurs and locals. My grandfather was a boxing ref. and I spent a lot of time with him at fights. While I admit to being a Pacquiao fan because of what he was able to do with the sport, he is not my favorite fighter. I never believed he could ever beat Floyd. Not then, not now. Floyd is the best fighter of this era.. This isn't a post about which fighter could beat the other, it was about Floyd's comments on Manny. That being said, I do not believe the media hyped Pacquiao up. I do think Manny took on a lot more risks than Money but no, the media did not feed hype into the Pacman.Comment
