I don't know why the media still mentions Pacquiao to Mayweather.

I admit it is funny how he points out the double standards he receives compare to Pacquiao but I see no other reason for them to bring his name up.

Pac is so B list right now. If he was as good as some say then why isn't he boxing as high a level as Mayweather but yet he's younger. I do know he hasn't gotten a ko since he's been getting called out on peds. At least buy the canvas a drink before you sleep with it!!

There is no denying that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of the greatest p4p boxers of all time. However, unfortunately, there is also no denying that he shamelessly ducked Manny Pacquiao, another undeniable greatest p4p fighter of all time, for the entirety of their collective primes.

He can say whatever he wants and his loyal followers will mindlessly believe whatever boloney comes forth from his undefeated lips; but the fact of the matter is.....Floyd, who admittedly "loves the money", turned down oodles and oodles of it for fear of his "O" going away in an embarrassing manner.

All the hulaballoo about Manny being overrated is mere anger at himself for waiting too long to enact his "Sugar Ray Leonard" strategy of taking advantage of a man who has slowed down just enough to beat him.....ala Leonard/Hagler.

Up until now...well, a few years ago, I guess...I believed the greatest fight that never took place was Lewis/Bowe, until I realized that Rid**** never could have handled Lewis with the late great Manny Steward in his corner. (with Pepe Corea, it's still debatable).

Now, unfortunately, Mayweather/Pacquiao holds that dubious position for all time. Not because of greedy promoters, or the mob, or injury; but because one fighter who wants so badly to be recognized as "great" didn't have what it took to dare to be great....and that, in and of itself, says something about the man as a fighter, regardless of how much physical talent and excellent boxing skill he displayed through out his career. When his true moment came......he opted to let it pass. And, for one, I hope that keeps him up at night into his old age.

You put a lot of thought in that and made some great points. I respect your opinion. But in all honesty, I will never believe that a guy who has been fighting since he was 8 years old and is great at what he does would be scared to fight any man walking around at his weight. I truly believe that Floyd, his dad and his uncle passionately believes that Manny was using peds, so they refused to fight him. Its that simple. Plus Floyd and Arum hate each other. There is nothing hard to understand about that.
