absolutely, even at the time I thought so but didn't sweat it b/c that happens a lot in boxing. And a knockdown can be to the advantage of the fighter going down if he can regroup and slow down the pace. Same time, it could motivate the guy that scored the knockdown to jump on his man.

was it also in the same round where in the end, morales by hit and was about to go down but didn't because the referee was in morales' back that prevented him from going down?

I thought no. I realize technically it could be but I don't really like to call knockdowns on touching the ropes or when your glove touches the canvas when you are off balance. Great fight tonight guys. It already jumps past the good Mormeck-Bell fight as the extremely early FOTY candidate that others will try to beat over the next 11 months

true, not to mention the 2 point deduction that comes with it.

I like Round 7 of Pac vs Morales 2. Back to back brutal punches!

There was also the shot at the end of one of the rounds where Eric fell into the ref...

Well my opinion is... its not a clear KD, if it was ruled, then it would be down to the ref...

In these instances the ref's discretion comes into play moreso than if he had been put down on his ass, and since the ref didnt count that as a KD, then i have no reason to think it was otherwise...
