I don't see how that's even remotely competitive, I think people need to stop voting with their heart. More than anything I'd rather Broner-Matthysse but seeing as how we're owed a Garcia-Matthysse fight...Maidana-Broner will do for now.

This thread again? Voted ''No, Broner should fight someone else.'' Maidana is garbage & I'm sick of him being put in main events and such, the guy is an extremely limited, slow gatekeeper who has one half decent win against a green Ortiz.

He can't get by any C or even D rate fighter without going life and death.
Great he has 'heavy hands', shame Broner will see everything coming an hour before it lands.

The hype this guy gets lately is similar to how it was before Khan whooped his ass. Its ridiculous.

I can't stand Broner but people are going with their heart, Broner would destroy Maidana. I think he'd probably stop him with bodyshots.

Hes a gutsy guy, his chins decent, he is heavy handed but apart from that hes pretty awful if we are honest though if you want to believe R.G has turned him into a monster because he now throws 2 jabs per fight & now moves his head clean into punches then that is cool but this guy will get wrecked vs Broner.

I wouldn't go that far but this is the truth right here. Gatti was similar in a way, constantly having to go through adversity to win. I don't think people realize how easy it's gonna be for Broner to smother Maidana in close and go to work.

Yeah it probably is a little harsh. Hes a good fighter considering how limited he is. Sometimes in the sport if you just do a few things well it can take you a long way. But he simply is not a top fighter and is made for Broner. I think Broner would look terrific against Maidana & I think his power would be rendered quite useless. Broner would have a field day at close quarters with him almost like Abril vs Rios, he'd just have no answers.
