At first I thought Pacquiao would have a shot. But Pacquiao vs. Clottey shows that Pacman has no shot against the defense of Adrien Broner, watch this. Pacman is relentless as hell but he couldn't break the guard of Clottey, Clottey using his same plan of letting the fighter tire himself out and punch him after didn't work here because Pacman never tired out or stopped punching.

But Broner had an amazing guard defense and Paulie fought very similar to Pacquiao throwing those blazing combos and trying to look for the cracks and openings from the side and between the gloves.

Watch this and tell me of this version of Pacquiao has a shot against Broner?

Paulie was landing on Broner... it was just Paulie didn't have the power to disrupt Broner and Broner ended up walking through all of his shots. Pacquiao hits much harder than Paulie.

And Clottey was the much bigger man on fight night, he used to rehydrate a lot overnight... to compare Paulie to Pacquiao and Clottey to Broner is absolutely insane, completely different fighters.

Now, if you had said you think Broner may beat Manny because he had started to decline before the JMM fight and you feel he may not be the same after his loss to JMM and taking a year out, then I would sort of understand... but basing it on the Pacquiao vs Clottey fight, a fight Manny dominated (he hit a lot of gloves I agree, but he still won practically every round) is silly.

Not to even mention that Pacquiao is a much better fighter than Paulie technically too, to compare Paulie to Pacquiao is insane, and I have a lot of respect for Paulie.

Pacquiao's foot work is on another level compared to Paulie he can change to some crazy angles, and land shots from those angles too... and having good footwork and movement is probably the best way to beat Broner.

As for the chin, not so certain your right there, Paulie has a great chin, but Manny isn't known for having a bad chin, when JMM knocked him down he recovered well and the KO was just a VERY well timed shot he didn't see coming.

It's simple. If Manny's chin has been forever cracked, then Broner has a chance via KO.

But if the chin is even back to 60% of what it once was for Manny, he annihilates Broner. Absolutely annihilates him into oblivion. He'd either stop him outright or win 90% of the rounds.

I think Pacquiao would destroy Broner in 5 rounds or less. Clottey is much bigger and tougher than Broner and has a 10 times tighter defense. If I remember Pacquiao won every single round by a mile in his fight with Clottey. Clottey has an iron jaw but Broner probably does not. Clottey is about 5 inches taller than Broner with a much longer reach and he was an excellent counter puncher.Clottey was a huge welterweight and he could punch with speed, power and accuracy.The Clottey that fought Pacquiao would eat little Broner for lunch.Broner does not have that much power at welterweight according to Paulie. Broner ran from little southpaw Ponce and was lucky to get the win.How is Broner going to do against Pacquiao who is a southpaw with real power, fast accurate punches that come from all angles and a work rate even higher than Paulie? Not well at all in my opinion.Mayweather called Broner flat footed but Pacquiao has some of the fastest footwork in boxing.Broner is easy work for Pacquiao and it's too bad the fight has zero chance of happening.
