Well, GBP is known to protect their fighters, Canelo is ben the most protected of the bunch and now they cashing out, his fans think that he is stepping up, but the fact of the matter is that he avoided all the real treats at his weight until he fought a good but feather fisted fighter which I compared to Paulie M, Trout, and now they getting a lots of money, good for them but the question remains, who is he's going to fight after Fraud? And when PQ is going to fight the other Champs, and who is going to step to the plate? Being with GBP has made Quillin richer, but he's not gonna get any big opponents. He's probably okay with that anyway.

I think at this point they're not protecting Quillin so much (except vs GGG, but he doesn't need help there), it's that they're constrained being on Showtime. Most of the top middles are on HBO. This seems like a rushed fight, basically no better alternatives but doubtful Jacobs is ready.
