It's been said several times on this forum, and I agree: Paulie would've beaten Broner if he had any power. Broner was able to walk right through Malignaggi's punches. There was zero respect. It's easy to keep walking forward if you don't feel a thing. Broner's good...but "the next big thing"? I don't think so.

I saw the leg grab. Malignaggi did it at least twice during the fight. It would merit a warning at best. Broner's reaction easily could've gotten him DQed. There are fouls, and then there are fouls. The little spin move Broner pulled in the second or third round should've earned him a little something, too. Truth be told, in a fight like this, a disqualification would be relatively difficult to impose, but the ref didn't even issue Broner a warning for the knee. That's bad reffing.Comment

I didn't expect Paulie to be this bad a loser.
Broner got into his head real good with the girl-thingy haha.
After the fight, they sort of not showed a little respect to eachother, but as soon as Adrien mentioned Jessica he went nuts!
It was hilarious!Comment

Paulie's right about some things, though. And what happened at the end of the fight was a classless moment by Broner (surprise, surprise). Malignaggi approached him at the end of the fight in a clear moment of sportsmanship. Broner nodded several times as Paulie apparently said unobjectionable things to him. Broner started off his interview well enough when he complimented Malignaggi, but then he went into that nonsense about taking Paulie's girl. Of course, it's not entirely easy to feel bad for Malignaggi, who refers to his girlfriend as his "side-piece." lolComment

Paulie is a nothing-extraordinary champion. He has a big mouth that is why he gets a lot of flak from fans. If a fighter talks a lot, he better come up with big wins too. Reminds me of Mayorga...a short-lived champion who talked a lot too.Comment

IMO a man shouldn't really brag about takin' a man's girl when the man was already long done with her ("side-piece"). That's like winning an auction for (insert product here) and then bragging about how you pulled a straight jack move on its prior owner. Long story short, Broner shouldn't really take that much pride in snagging someone's sloppy seconds. Paulie tried to tell him, but all Broner could say was "but you lost though". So?? He won, cool, but "takin'" his girl? C'mon, son. Haha.Paulie's right about some things, though. And what happened at the end of the fight was a classless moment by Broner (surprise, surprise). Good for Broner that he has talent and is racking up these wins because he's a straight ignoramus in Press Conferences and Interviews and his trash talking is as good as Paulie's KO percentage...Comment

Paulie may not have much power, but he has more heart and a better work ethic than 95% of pro boxers fighting today. And he's a 2 time champ. So grind all the he!! you want, it just shows your lack of class and respect for a real man in the ring.Comment
