Great fight. Both fighters were gonna go down shooting. But Pacquiao mixed his head shots with body blows and it paid off big. There were times I thought Pac was hurt but that happens when you attack Morales's body. Erik is a warrior and went down fighting against a better man this night.

Pac will have to fight Erik one more time. Fighting Barrera is pointless, IMO. He got beat worse than Erik.

Steward explained that Pac had never fought with Winning before and could not close his fist like he could with Reyes gloves. It's also a psychological difference in the first fight for Erik over Manny. This time, Manny got to wear his gloves that got him there: Reyes Gloves.

I don't buy the excuses surrounding the Barrera fight. The same can be said about Manny's problem before fighting Morales with the promotional problems, the pinoy's having 7 people sleeping on the floor in his room, the blood he had removed 48 hours before the fight because of missing samples.

BOZO NO NO: I don't buy Barrera not being ready. That's an excuse. He was violently beaten in almost every round. It wasn't even close.

And Marquez got his game going after he'd been dropped three times, and escaped with a draw beacause of an error one judge made on his score card, later saying it was his mistake and he would have corrected it if he'd realized it at the time.
