How the **** did the gloves matter you dumb ****? Fact is, it's 1-1 and you pinoy fans were the one making excuses the first time.

Well, if you look at how PAC rearranged Morales' face, the third bout will be more of the same. PAC is still peaking, Morales just tasted how it feels to be punched by the hardest, fastest puncher in the featherweight.

gloves can make a difference. don't believe so, buy a few pairs of gloves from different companies and fight with them. you'll usually find one pair that is more comfortable for you than the rest.

erik is a great fighter, but the making weight excuse seems to make him look like a poor loser.

I have a ton of respect for Morales, but the point in this thread is valid.

Morales complained about Pacquiao and his camp making excuses after the 1st fight, and all he did in his interview was use the weight as an excuse.

He's still a great fighter, but that was a bit arrogent. That's just the way he is though, and what makes him a great fighter.

everything aside...i knwo ecuses are are like *******s but you said yourself that erik looked drained and weak just from his weigh in pics alone. i do think 130 was hurting him, but if you can't make the weight comfortably then you don't deserve to be in the ring with a beast like pacman anyway.

Anyway. HELL OF A LOT BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE. I can't give these fighters anymore respect than I have for them. Props for Manny for getting the win and Eric for showing a champions heart. Manny wasn't lookinf for anything less than a win tonite and he got it with heart a determination. Gloves don't make the difference, it's the amount of work and heart you put into your punch and Manny was throwing his punches like this was his last fight. All in all, what a great, great fight.

Exactly, if you watch the fight. PAC defeated Morales in every facet of the game. From the slugfest to the boxfest.

He completely dominated Morales in great fashion and PAC is just smiling at Morales' pillow punches. PAC has proven today he has a granite chin.

Sure, making weight is hard on someone and it was on Morales. When you have to shift weights then there is always a drain. But the fact is that Morales was definitely the beaten fighter. Maybe in another fight, Morales can choose the weight and then Pac will prove to be the best from the tie breaker.
