No I think hatton was a great fighter it's just bad luck he ran into the 2 best fighters of this era in their prime. However I don't think floyd stops him at jw.

In general Hatton has become one of the most ridiculously underrated boxers of recent times. Hatton was an extremely good pressure fighter and a great champion. I've never lost any respect for him. He got slayed by Mayweather and Pacquiao. Two of the greatest sharpshooters in boxing history. No shame in that. Hatton was a face first brawler. An amazingly effective face first brawler. Sorry, but the best face first brawler of all time stands no chance against Manny or Floyd in a shootout. Hatton deserves better than he gets.

Exactly his only 2 losses were to may and pac ( I don't really count the comeback loss), he defeated the best jw of the era ( tzsyu; even tho past prime), and held the undisputed jw champ. he deserves a lot of respect.

Well Hatton beat down malinaggi after he lost to Floyd and that was a younger and fresher Paulie. So if a 140 pound Hatton can get a dominant tko win over Paulie should that tell us anything about Broner? I never thought that he had Paulie hurt or in trouble.

Paulie had the all time worst trainer for championship fights in Buddy Mcgirt. I don't blame that loss on Paulie one bit.
