Remember when people said Floyd ruined Hatton?

Well Hatton beat down malinaggi after he lost to Floyd and that was a younger and fresher Paulie. So if a 140 pound Hatton can get a dominant tko win over Paulie should that tell us anything about Broner? I never thought that he had Paulie hurt or in trouble.

"Younger and fresher Paulie" doesn't mean he isn't better now.

He is more mature, more seasoned, has been in more tough fights, has learned some lessons and he's also clearly (to me) more comfortable at 147.

How did he look against Cano just prior to Broner? Paulie is most certainly past his prime.

No doubt. He's also a tiny welter. Hatton totally ragdolled him, but I don't think he ever hurt him as bad as Cano.

Styles make fights. Broner comes forward and is content to block shots and use a little head movement here and there. It played right into Paulies game plan which was to flutter off combos to the bodies. Unfortunately for Paulie, 1) He has no power, and 2) more importantly, almost all of them landed on gloves, shoulders, and arms.

I think Broner would have trouble against guys like Bradley or Alexander. I also think he might have some trouble against guys with real power. So far his chin has been good, but at these higher weights, it's yet to be seen.

Well we won't ever see Broner against Devon or Lamont unless the money is ******, which it won't be...all those guys are good friends

Ricky put a hurtin' on Paulie. In round 2... remember Paulie got hit with that short shot that made his eyes roll back in his head?

I have to add in fairness Ricky was a VERY strong JWW and could bully pretty much any of the guys he was in the ring with.

Hatton fight could have gone the distance didn't see a reason for the corner stoppage

yeah, but even Ricky's jabs were hurting Paulie.
