In the boxing business it's most often about taking the least risk for the most bucks. Unfortunately, it's not about the fan's choice, but the promoter's bank account and the fighter's ring longevity and marketability. In a perfect world, we'd have seen Mayweather vs Pacquiao years ago.

You all really think names from top rank will appear on the list. There is no working relationship between top rank and GB. So fights with any fighter from top rank won't happen. I got an idea of list of fighters that might appear. Broner will have one more fight this year maybe something October or November. That removes lucas or garcia because they they set to fight each other sometime October. Judah and Peterson are moved because they are set to fight on the same night lucas/garcia takes place. Alexander and Khan are removed as well because it looks like they set to meet each other in December. Mayweather is removed because they won't fight each other and of course mayweather has canelo. Ortiz is removed because I think they set in matching him with Mosley. In the end, I see three fighters in the list. 1) Maidana 2) Guerrero 3)Berto/Karass winner.

Guerrero called him out in front of his face and nothing came out of that encounter. Dana White will never let that spontaneous promotional gem go. It was a perfect seed for a fight. Of course, fans would love to see that fight. Broner never mentioned Guerrero's name since.
