He also has close 'wins' over Quintero & Ponce, I've always said he was a bum, last night changed nothing.

Lucas clearly won both of those fights, hes improved leaps and bounds since and its about styles. Just about every opponent Floyd fights is flat-footed and can't cut a ring off, Canelo is no exception. Shot Cotto can cut a ring off pretty well and he had good success.

Its like saying Rigo struggled with Corboda so won't beat Donaire because hes a p4p level fighter.
p4p means **** to me.

I love Matthysse. I think he is the best 140 pounder alive. I think Mayweather is the best 147 pounder alive. When both fighters are excellent then 7 little pounds can make the difference between winning and losing. Mayweather has far more boxing skill than Matthysse.He has the height and reach advantage. Floyd takes a good punch and he has a great defense. Floyd has those quick, accurate punches and he has underrated power. I think Lucas would be hard after him the whole fight with his non stop hard punching attack. I think he would hurt Floyd a few times but Floyd would survive and land enough punches to win a close ud.

I really like Lucas buy Floyd takes this one pretty easily. Power isn't everything. Lucas have a decent amount of skills but its his power that is the the only special thing about him imo. He has a great chin as well but chins like his are much more seen.

i just think Lucas pressure will be too much. Especially mixed with Power. I will be able to give a better observation after the Canelo fight though!
