no he doesn't, he used cecilio flores for the lopez bout. i think you're thinking of brandon rios. i heard talks about him using heredia. from what i've read and seen (videos), he's been working with cecilio flores ever since hooking up with robert garcia.

As much I don't like Broner, I think people are getting ahead of themselves. I simply do not see how Maidana would win a fight againast Broner besides landing a lucky punch. I really don't see Matthysse beating him either. People get caught up in the fact that Matthysse hits hard but you have to take into consideration who he is knocking out. Besides Petterson and a couple of faded fighters none of his KO's are against any body of recognition. It reminds me of Jeff Lacey had all the power in the world but when he started to face real fighters he got whipped every fight.

I think Maidana and most top WW's beat Broner. Paulie just touches...he doesn't ****...but he showed everyone Broner can be hit easily...and Maidana can punch...even after being knocked down. Even Paulie without power would have beat him with a couple of more rounds of the energy that he had in the 1st 4 rounds. Maidana would go gunning for him and hurt him. He should stay away from the ww division...at least the top tier fighters...Lucas Matthysse would break him.

I agree I think Lucas would be a tougher fight because he actually has some skill. It's no doubt Lucas hits hards but decent fighters (Alexander and Judah) have been able to negate his power to steal the victory (Those two losses are questionable though). Yes he got knockdowns in those fights but he didn't look like the monster we see against lesser competition.

As much as I wanted Paulie to win so he could shut Broner up, he didn't land ONE meaningful punch. All he showed was that he can take a punch just as he has in all his other fights. Power wouldn't have helped Paulie because he couldnt land anything. I mean he threw a lot but I didn't see one punch that meant anything.

Broner beats Maidana easily. I would rather he fights Ortiz or Guerrero.
