i think he could use something like a 8 month - 1 year break, kinda like rjj.

it might freshing things up for him, he made it sound like boxing was really getting to be a grind.

without doubt though he's got a damn good chin, took some big headshots.

      awesome fight too.

Morales is not past his prime, he just lost to the better man tonight. Morales will win another belt at lightweight. I think he has a good 3 years left in his career.

still a great win for pacman.
Actually, PAC turned Morales into a fighter past his prime. The beating PAC inflicted Morales will certainly legitimize he's past his prime.

Now Morales can retire, no offense but I hope he doesn't have brain damage. PAC's flushes could kill a man. And the way he delivered it tonight in unbelivable fashion... he better retire.

Yup......too bad for morales man.I was rooting for him,but I was more confident in him winning the first time around.Erik morales getting KO'ed equals an erik morales past his prime. Not to take anything away from manny.Eriks win was probably his last hurrah. Some lackluster performances,2 consecutive loses, one shut out,one by KO.Erik is well past his prime IMO.

Don't forget that PAC was going to the body a lot more often comapred to the first fight. I was seeing him going to the body with the right hook over and over and over and unlike last time he would barrage more often instead of doing a 4 punch combo and being done most of the round. PAC still has some more things to work on but after that...

MORALES is just really really worn out. It's probably best for him to really rest and take on some good tough fights that won't lead to wars. Just needs to gain some confidence back. I don't think he really lost much.

The gloves definitely made a difference, and you wanna say Morales is outta his prime, you can say, Manny's gloves made him look that way.

Morales fought Barrera, than Pac, han lost to Raheem, and Pacman. Right from his high, to a low. Hes primed.

He lost to Barrera. He struggled to beat Pacman who had been thoroughly outboxed by JMM. He lost to Raheem. He lost to Pacman.

                    Morales needs some rest.

Morales needs to retire. he has a family to think of. That beating inflicted by PAC, if PAC does that again to him, he will surely die.
