    Is Morales past his prime?

Not to take anything away from Pacman, but it seems to me that Morales has well passed his prime.

He lost to Barrera. He struggled to beat Pacman who had been thoroughly outboxed by JMM. He lost to Raheem. He lost to Pacman.

    Morales needs some rest.

Well I am a big fan of Pac and hope people give him great credit for this win...

but to answer your question, it is easy to say that Morales may be past is..mainly because of the types of fights he has been in during his career...he has had many wars even outside of the Barrera trilogy...but give Pacman full credit for coming back after the first loss, then turning it up down the stretch in this rematch

I don't think so. Morales was clearly trading and putting up a great fight with Manny. It was all those power shots that finally broke him down. ****, he just looked bad after those early rounds when Manny was landing flush. The gloves definitely made a difference, and you wanna say Morales is outta his prime, you can say, Manny's gloves made him look that way.

alibis excuses...no way...manny had a plan and he followed it to the letter. If you look at erik's torso, he doesnt have any meat on his bone. Freddie Roach clearly knew it and devised a plan in the middle rounds...chop chop chop to the body, and the head will fall! Congratulations Manny! YOu did us all proud. And clearly Manny could bear Erik's punches even in the first fight. He never went down he was just affected by his cuts...but Morales had always been afraid of Pacquiao's power
