i think broners jump up in 2 weight classes

was premature. He didnt impress and although he won in the judges eyes, he didnt seem to be comfortable and have that pop that he had at 135. I thought Paulie fought a great fight and imo did what he had to do to keep the belt (scored it a draw), although it could have gone either way (not gonna argue with the SD but will argue about that 117-109 score). Broner promised alot but didnt deliver. Really hope he delivers on the "whoever my fans want me to fight, i will fight next", cause there are a lot of fights that can be made next!!!!!!!!!

This could be a legitimately interesting fight, doubt it happens though. Would love to see Crawford get that payday. His win over Prescott is far more impressive and convincing than almost anything Broner's done, maybe only the DeMarco win competing (PDL and Malignaggi being fairly unconvincing wins, particularly when you factor in the numerous possibilities for point deductions).

Broner will maximize his potential at the lower weights where his power/weight advantage will make the most difference. He'll need to rely a little more on skill instead of physical attributes at WW.

I want to see Broner vs. Maidana/Vasquez next.

If he's going to drop down in weight I hope he fights at 140 not 135.

but i do think it would be a good fight and more competitive than most think, although lucas can land an early killer
The only thing that makes Broner-Matthysse interesting is Lucas' power. If not for that, this fight is a technical mismatch. And the manner in which Lucas delivers his punches leads me to believe he's gonna have a hard time landing ewith any regularity on AB.

We'll see. But I know one thing. When AB outclasses Lucas, I don't wanna hear **** about how Lucas had been previously outboxed by Judah and Alexander.

BTW, didn't say Lucas' hands were slow. I said Paulie's hands are faster and he throws straighter.

Im with you i dont see anyone at 140 giving broner huge problems, the only one would been khan but hes left so broner could dominate especially if the winner of garcia/matthyse moves up (mayweather fight)

That said, as a fight fan and fan of Broner's, the fight I most wanna see right now is he and Matthysse. IMO, Lucas is tailor-made for AB. And with the hype surrounding Lucas, the manner in which I think AB would beat him would crush his haters and make message boards like this one so quiet it might put boxingscene outta business.
