Broner is 23 years old not even close to being in his prime as a fighter and he is not a finished product, he hasn't reached his peak nor is he polished as a fighter yet

Hating the guy is one thing but fans embarrass themselves when they try to ignore a guys talent because they hate the fighter. Broner has a lot of talent and did some things positive against Paulie style, I thought he cut the ring off perfectly and had no problems keeping up with Paulie. The only negative I seen against Paulie was him not being active enough and fighting in spurts too much, that is because he was fighting a move target I know but even when he had Paulie Cornered he did not let his hands go enough at times

Broner is NO MAYWEATHER, NOT EVEN CLOSE! Only thing they have in common is the Philly Shell, nothing more! But he doesn't have to be Mayweather to be the next Superstar in boxing.

Eagle, before Rigo fought Donaire he looked a bit sloppy in one of his fights so everyone here started saying Rigo was over rated and Donaire would knock him the **** out easily. I forget exactly which fight it was but Rigo was wobbled at one point so people started saying he was chinny. Aside from that he looked a bit sloppier than normal so everyone claimed he must have always been over rated the whole time. I've been following Rigo since before the Casey fight and every time I tried to tell people Donaire wasn't on Rigo's level they would call me an idiot using the fact that he struggled "somewhat" against some other guys.

By comparison, the only major flaw Broner showed against Paulie was that he didn't knock Paulie out. He remained defensive and deflected punches while maintaining a certain level of slickness, yet as before the ******s like those who attacked Rigo and know very little about boxing emerge from the woodwork to label him over rated.

How is broner not a star, there is no other boxer out there that draws as many tv ratings and his threads on here get the most views.

He's 23 years old, undefeated a 3 time world champion and he just jumped 2 weight classes to get his third title.

Where is the next... De La Hoya, Mosley, Mayweather, Trinidad, Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera etc.. etc!!

It seems like every 1-2 year we produce a cheap copy of one of the above who then get exposed in a short period of time, who is the next Boxing superstar? Does anyone really hold Canelo in that light or Broner after last night?
