I've been saying this forever now, but the guy that's gonna beat Broner is gonna have to be a boxer that can keep it moving. Broner needs his opponents to stand still in the pocket for him to look good. A prime Paulie probably would've taken the decision against Broner last night, but it sickens me the way judges (and commentators) give absolutely no credit for punches from a light hitter. Scoring the harder punches should only be a factor if they're landing about the same amount of punches, so wtf? The judging system is too open for interpretation... either it's a scoring punch or it's not, am I right? Broner hardly threw any punches, lands 2 or 3 in a round and they say well "Broner probably took that round just off that one punch". It's ridiculous. I'm not saying Paulie won but last time I checked you don't win fights just by walking them down and NOT throwing punches. They have to be throwing and landing punches too and Broner did very little of that. All any opponent has to do is keep throwing punches to outwork Broner, because he doesn't throw AT ALL when they do, and unlike Floyd - Broner gets hit a lot (whether they're hard punches or not).

As far as who Broner should fight next, TBH Maidana is too flat footed and he likes to stand in and **** so I think he only has a punchers chance. As much as it probably should be Matthyse, it wont be next - he's gonna be fighting someone else long before Broner is ready to fight again. The perfect type of fighter to beat Broner would be like Timothy Bradley - but he would end up in the same situation as Paulie, because he goes in the fight already down on the scorecards because he's perceived to be a light puncher.

Side note: How the hell do you kick someone in a fight and not have ATLEAST one point taken for intentional foul?!?!

It totally amazes me that we the fans allow ourselves to ****** in to giving a crap about two sixth grader circus acts like Paulie and Broner. Whether Broner is over hyped or not , I could care less. They couldnt even hurt each other.lol. Classless circus acts thats what we have here.
