Very ignorant comment. I teach high school and the kids in my school are very very very disrespectful. They have zero respect for adults. They talk to their parents with little respect. They think the world owe them something. Oh yeah, those kids are White and rich. I'm ignorant to think all those kids are disrespectful. It doesn't matter where you're from, it's how you were raised.

I hate to burst your delusional bubble but getto urban kids are worst then the so call white kids at your school. It does matter where you are from because some places breed more negativity then others and parents that are less educated can't teach respect or manners nowadays.

If Broner is on his way to super stardom based on last nights performance the sport of boxing is in worse shape than I had ever imagined.

Broner looked pedestrian against a fighter that he held every physical advantage over. The thing that jumped out to me was how he wasn't able to physically impose himself on Paulie even though he's a small welter. Also, he didn't seem to carry the same power or speed that he had at 130/135. I'd now favor Mattysse, Garcia, Khan, Alexander, Bradley over him at 140-147 and I'd like to see Thurman get all up in that a$$ too. Hell, I'd give Maidana, Provodnikov, Berto and Ortiz a punchers chance to be competitive against him. This is what happens when the boxing industry tries to force feed superstars down our throats. The guy hasn't had a competitive resume and it shows.

"talk about he 23 and got titles in 3 weight classes...talk about that". Yes, those are facts, he has title belts in 3 weight classes for what it's worth. Not much in the opinions of majority of the hardcore fans. He hasn't faced the top tier of any division he has been in, he hasn't cleaned out any particular division to this point, he hasn't unified any titles, he hasn't defended against anyone note worthy, he hasn't faced anyone in the top 25 of the sport. The reality of his situation is that he's a talented fight with politics on his side and his team clearly skipped over 140 when it's probably the deepest division in boxing. Instead of earning his rep by taking competitive fights against Mattysse, Garcia, Peterson, Khan, Judah, Alvarado, Rios at 140 or challenging Alexander for his belt his team pits him against the easiest "title" holder. Yes, he has 3 titles in 3 weight classes but he hasn't done anything extraordinary to this point. He's more of a hypejob at this point until he proves otherwise.

Dan Rafael scored the fight 117-111 and stated that that was a pretty consistant score among press row. Ring magazine scored it 117-111. I know I know, they represent Broner. Boxingscene scored the fight 116-112. I just rewatched and scored it 116-112 giving Paulie a couple rounds I probably should have given to AB. I say all that to say, this wasn't a close fight people. Please stop all the robbery bull****.

As for Broner's postfight comments. They were outta line IMO because Paulie clearly wanted to squash all the drama when he embraced him postfight. Stuff like this is WHY people hate Broner and he will never receive any credit for anything he does. As long as he keeps winning, he's gonna make a lotta money. But he's gonna have every move of his career pissed on by haters. Everybody is itching to see him "KO'd" by Matthysse. Broner will clinically take Lucas apart. And when he does, people will say Lucas was overratred and was outboxed by an old Judah and Alexander.

Funny thing is, if he's matched well he probably is on his way.

Most of these guys have been telling everybody for weeks that Broner was going to win, it's hardly surprising they backed their own predictions (with a healthy amount of backslapping no doubt). Rafael was also crawling up Broner's backside at the post-fight conference. People can judge fights for themselves.
