Why wasn't Broner deducted points for kicking Paulie in the balls?

Same goes for the 360 upcut, that's an automatic point deduction.

And, for that matter, had both incidents been properly dealth with by the ref, the second blatant fould would have warranted a DQ.

And, none of that even takes into account the 4 or 5 warnings Broner received for kidney and rabbit punches, as well as punching with his back to the opposition.

The ref definitely cut Broner some serious slack by not even deducting a single point for any of the above violations of the rules.

    Like Malignaggi said:

"The more politically connect fighter always gets the decision."
Don't forget the late uppercut he threw after kicking Paulie in the nuts and the ref had called for a break.

Is attempting to hit your opponent while your back is turned illegal too? I've never seen that attempted before tonight either.

Because networks bend the knee to Al Haymon and hire whoever they can to keep his fighters winning. Every winner on Showtime tonight was an Al Haymon fighter and it doesn't take a genius to figure out what's going on here.

The ref was Al Haymon's *****. He let Broner do all kind of illegal stuff including kicking Paulie, hitting him behind the head and several kidney shots.

It looked more like Paulie pulling Broners legs out. That was fine I though, what wasn't was broner hitting in the breaks and after the bell. Points joule have been deducted there. Regardless I thought Paulie won, he was much more active and like Hagler said to Lenorad, 'I wasn't given credit for my body punches'. I want to see a replay though, I watched it on a crappy stream.

it's didn't. it looked intentional in real time but in the replay I think paulie was grabbing Broner's leg and he just lifted it for balance.

Man, that was a joke. Deliberate as hell. At the very least it should have been a one point deduction. The ref didn't even really warn him much, certainly not properly.

Well Paulie was grabbing his leg. I don't know why ppl don't mention this. Both were fouls. U can't deduct from Broner and act like that was ok
