As far as I know Lucas have never been knocked out unconscious in sparring unlike Broner...

140 isn't a very strong division. You have a lot of good fighters at about the same skill level. There's no one in 140 considered great....its one of the most balanced....but not one of the hardest to reach the top in if you're a great fighter. That being said is AB that? Who knows....see what he does vs paulie and if he campaigns at 147 or his future plans.

actually, i dont even want to see maidana v broner.
Yep, no doubt the winner's of Paulie-Broner & Matthysse-Garcia (if he actually signs) should fight.

This is what Broner's father had to say about his son fighting Maidana though. Take note of the weight classes he says his son will "dominate".

Easy money and I'll win a ton of points off that fight just like I will tonight. You can't beat a fighter with that kind of confidence and skill.

I think its a fight Broner should win but it wouldn't be easy
Lucas has to ability to knock him out but Broner should have enough speed and power to take

lucas would dismantel broner easily... borner stands right in front of lucas and his ass would get a definite milkshake to the head like petersen got.... after that he would change his whole fightplan... lucas by ko before 7 rds...

That's my biggest gripe with Broner as of now. Skipped the red hot 140 pound division, and is fighting probably the weakest title holder at 147.

But who's to say Broner won't drop down to 140 after this fight, or the top flight guys at 140 won't be moving up to 147?

Or Paulie throws a giant monkey wrench into my ramblings, and beats Broner tonight?

One thing is for sure, Lucas isn't an easy out for anybody from 140-147.
yeah that's my problem with broner right now as well but hopefully after he snatches pauli's belt he'll fight mattysse, I'd be hyped for that fight
