Former heavyweight contender Lou Savarese compiled a record of 46-7 (38 KOs) in a career that spanned from 1989-2007, but he will start with a clean slate tonight as he makes his MMA debut at the Bayou City Events Center in Houston. A record of 1-7? Savarese better win lol

To be honest though I like that he's not jumping into big competition right away and is taking the time to fight lower ranked opponents and get a feel of the sport, unlike Toney who stepped in with a future hall of famer lmao.

Wow. It's hard to believe that anyone would spend their hard earned dollars on this fiasco of a fight card. Take your wife (girlfriend) and kids out to dinner and a movie. Money much better spent.

I imagine there are a few more ex boxers that can't fight anymore to be drawn out of retirement for mma. The search goes on.
