Simple fact is nobody outside hardcore boxing fans know André Ward. Despite being an Olympic champion he's not even remotely close to being a household name. Both Froch and especially Kessler are in their countries. This means PPV money from both countries once again. On top of that, these two guys are guaranteed to give the fans a good fight, whereas the Ward fight is 80% surely going to be another stinker. Will Sky risk the PPV? No.

On top of the other top, Froch doesn't like Ward for whatever reason. Doesn't like his style. It's almost as if he feels like Ward conned him in their first fight.

If by conned, you mean schooled...Froch knows what's up. I'm a fan, but it is what it is.

Where are the 1000 posts saying Froch is straight out ducking?
Oh this is a boxer people like my bad.

I think I hope Kessler retires.

Either that or a Ward fight in Copenhagen. Almost everybody thinks Kessler is shot, so that would be the perfect tune-up for Ward in September:

1: The best payday of his career by a mile.
2: Instant acknowledgement from boxingfans critisizing him for always fighting at home.
3: A certain win since everybody thinks Kessler is shot.
4: A perfect set-up for a Froch fight (for both Ward and Kessler).

Did Sauerland ever make Ward an offer to fight in Denmark?

I don't think Froch v Kessler III needs to happen until next summer, if at all.

Ward never says anything bad about Froch, yet Froch and Hearn come with a smear campaign to knock Ward's marketability and disrespect his boxing.

Ward beat Froch fair and square and everyone knows he is willing to travel to the UK (Barry Hearn acknowledged as much).

I hope Kessler turns Froch down, not necessarily for a Ward fight but to see a different fight. Hearn is out for himself, not Froch's legacy.
Good points made. Froch should just admit Ward is better than him or that he's the most difficult fight for him out there. Ward is a better fighter than him and he's respectful.

I don't know if Ward likes him much either. But that has more to do with Froch's character. Still Ward is respectful to him.

Yes he got schooled. That's one of the reasons there's not much demand for the fight.

What i was saying was that when Froch speaks about Ward, its as if he feels Ward conned him.

Fight Ward or I'm not going to bother with Froch any longer tbh.

It's almost like Froch is using Wards style as an excuse why not to fight him. If you don't want to fight him fine but at least admit to that Ward is just a style that you don't mesh well with(and would lose to again in a landslide) and move on. Don't use some weak ass excuse like money as your reason since you would be paid very well for the rematch with Ward.
Some fan you are! It’s so ****** when someone so unintelligently try to be more convincing by stating that they are a fan, when it is so obvious, that they are not: “I’m his fan, so I’m not at all biased against him when saying, that he needs to man up. I’m just saying things as they are... as a fan.” Yeah right!

But still using Ward's name to keep his relevant... Cause no matter what he accomplishes from now till the end of his career, he will only ever be second best
To all you experts and boxing geniuses in this thread. Please answer this one objectively and not to defend your previous opinion. What is smarter – to take the fight you know you can win and earn more money doing so or to take the fight you know you cannot win and get paid less?

Btw. I'm not a Froch fan.
