Had Froch been the lineal champ at 168 then he could call all the shots and make anyone fight him in ****ingham and deservedly so but fact is Frochy got his az handed to him

Froch just talking out of his az cause he knows Ward is his daddy
Ward beats Froch anywhere. It's just fans are fed up seeing him sit at home. Funny how Joe received so much stick for staying in Wales, but, because Ward is American, it's all good?

Well, the loser is the money man in the division... If Ward wants a good payday at 168, he needs Froch (or, if he can find his passport and grow some balls, rematch Kessler in Denmark).

Pretty sure Froch has admitted that the Ward fight is the hardest out there for him. Sure he wants revenge, but he might as well cash in on some big UK fights before taking another loss; especially on home turf for next to no £££.
What I don't get is why he has to knock Ward?

Ward never says anything bad about Froch, yet Froch and Hearn come with a smear campaign to knock Ward's marketability and disrespect his boxing.

Ward beat Froch fair and square and everyone knows he is willing to travel to the UK (Barry Hearn acknowledged as much).

I hope Kessler turns Froch down, not necessarily for a Ward fight but to see a different fight. Hearn is out for himself, not Froch's legacy.

Not at all. Joe was the shot caller I don't like him but can't argue with the fact joe held all the cards and if u wanted to fight him it would be on his terms. It goes both ways. Name one fight that ward for a hometown dec. like joe did on several occasions?

U just don't get it. Rematch ward in AC and by some miracle ward loses then the rubber match takes place over seas

Pretty sure I do. I've already said, Froch loses regardless of the venue. It's about marketability, though.

You're right, Weebler. I don't get it either. Hearn has been particularly cutting in interviews re. Ward. They might as well say 'We'll fight Ward, but in 2-3 fights time' - that's clearly what they want, and it leaves the door open for a rematch.

Ok I agree but Ward has a point. He shouldn't have to go over seas. But if its about the chedda then he is better off fighting in England.

Look Ward has already proven he is a class above Froch. A rematch is pretty pointless in competitive terms, sure Froch will do better on home turf, but he'll still lose by a convincing margin.

Ward is a round by round fighter, he does enough, whatever the opponent to take the fight round by round. I don't see this being an entertaining match up, although I would respect Froch if he felt he could avenge his defeat.

Personally I think Froch's got 2 or 3 fights to make some serious retirement money before hanging up the gloves.... he should go for Kessler III in a neutral venue, Bute in Montreal, Pascal in Montreal and possibly, a Hopkins fight at Wembley arena.

Does he need to fight Ward? Not really.
