Thats balance training, like Cub said Tim is just jumping in there for the first time, his balance isn't accustomed to those workouts. These workouts help you with your balance big time if Tim is really doing these now I think we would be seeing a better Bradley against JMM.

That training is no joke though in MMA you need to have really top of the line conditioning because of the grappling which is more taxing than jabbing an moving, throwing punches is less tiring than lifting or defending against a heavy body for 5 minutes a round.

Tim does like 1000 sit up's a day. Bet Tim can out do him in the exercises that he already does. That being said, Tim isn't a puncher, he strength is his cardio, chin and skills.

Then why do they look gassed after three minutes of doing nothing? Boxing conditioning craps all over MMA conditioning...I know this because my gym offers MMA too and there's no contest between the two. I love sparring those slow ass MMAers...

            I disagree.

I have wrestled and would say punching is much harder on cardio, especially since boxing has a hell of a lot more rounds.

Wrestling is tough, but in MMA you get to rest as well. Usually both get tired because you both work at the same rate more or less. There comes a rest point.

Watch the MMA guys box and see how tired they get.

Cub Swanson is the truth. One of the best conditioned and exciting athletes in MMA. Tim will definitely benefit training with him just like Cub definitely benefits training with Tim. Gotta to love it when these 2 can show the ignorant clowns on this website that even though they are 2 different sports they can learn alot from each other and benefit from working with each other.

lmao are you kidding? I'm sure nobody in your half rate gym would even be able to survive training with a Sean Sherk.

You usually have good posts but this definitely one of your worst posts. The training, the sports are totally different. And I doubt your MMA gym is anywhere near the level of an elite MMA gym. Not to mention boxing is 3 minute rounds, MMA is 5 minute rounds.

5 minute rounds, but 3 rounds unless it is a title fight.
