In my opinion, it's obvious that boxing business in the U.S is sinking fast.
As I'm aware, U.S. have only four world champs -- Broner, Floyd (36), Ward, B-Hop (48!)...
Soon, the breed of (defensive) BOXERS would vanish... BOXERS-PUNCHERS and BRAWLERS will get the front stage... If this happens, Ward's future career is quite questionable -- as it is even in the present...

Hmm no, they still have more world champs than any other country.

Defensive boxers have been around for a while, they ain't going nowhere.

What??? Mikey Garcia is a champ, Danny Garcia, so is Mike Alvarado. That is just off the top of my head. I am sure there is more.

This just comes off as sour g****s because Ward schooled Kessler. Your boy hadn't left Denmark in his first 26 fights. If Ward never leaves the states again I'll agree you. If he does though you will just find something else to gate on him for.

Ward needs to go up to 175 and fight Stevenson. I know he can make 168 probably, but god damn Andre.....if he doesn't go up to 175 for Adonis, I'll start losing respect for him. He should have gone up to fight Dawson in the first place.

He wants that Froch money and possible Chavez money.

So Ward can't go up and than go down???

Froch isn't fighting Ward again, that won't happen. Ward doesn't need it, and certainly doesn't need to go to the UK, and Froch doesn't actually want it.

I could understand Chavez. But I hope it's after Chavez were to beat Stieglitz, Oosthuizen, or someone like that to get a decent W at 168 first.
