Ward should though. Nothing left at 168 but chasing around Froch.
He could easily vacate and wait. Take break. Wait for these guys to fight each other.

Other fighters have done the same. Yet he's staying active. Its a good to see.

**** man I find it hard to big up a bloke who's been ducking B-hop, you ain't going to convince boxing fans that you want to be a world recognised fighter by hiding in your homeland!
Frank Warren is raising Cleverly up the same fashion as he did with Joe Calzaghe, this fight hasn't been made 100% official YET...
I'll atleast give Kovalev some credit atleast he's fought in the states and tried to make his name known, more Yanks will probably have heard of him than Cleverly.

Kovalev is based in the States.

Ducking B-Hop? Cleverly agreed to fight Hopkins in New York last year. Cleverly fought in America last year on the Mares-Moreno undercard. Stop talking bollox!

If Hopkins goes through a series of fights where he beats Adonis and then either Cleverly or Kovalev it would surely be the best run of fights for a fighter his age. Both Adonis and Kov are HUGE punchers, if he beats either or both .... wow....I dunno man, his status as a top 20 ATG goes through the roof....dare I say top 10?

Hopkins is a true champion. He's 48 years old, has been fighting since 1988 and is willing to fight dangerous opposition in their own backyard. Respect to his man.

So Showtime won't air the Executioner vs. the Crusher fight because it has no invested interest BUT it has no problem airing the Executioner vs. Murat fight.

C'mon, forget Showtime...If Goldenboy puts their foot down, Showtime will air it, this is just an excuse.

If Hopkins beats Stevenson and Kovalev, he belongs in the top 10 ATG's.....maybe, maybe top 15 but no farther down the list than that.

So people really think Hopkins is scared of kovalev yet cleverly has already signed a contract and is willing to face him no problem? Ist that the story now?

How in the *** does beating those two push someone into the top 10 all time?
