I think cleverly is the better choice for kovalev. As dangerous as kovalev is, bhop has a habit of making young bogey men seem average. Kovalev would benefit from a few high level fights before taking on someone as crafty as Hopkins. I think kovalev can knock him down and maybe even out, but I also see the possibility of Hopkins givin him a boxing lesson.

If Kovalev decides to fight Hopkins, it will be a boooring fight. At least with Cleverly we are guaranteed a scrap.

Someone needs to step up and face Cleverly. I've been critical of him in the past, but let's face it, he's being avoided left right and centre. That must be for a reason.
Nice post. Finally someone who doesn't follow the sheep.

You're saying Everyone 1-50 has been ducking Cleverly, hence his bottom feeding? It must have been the Bellew fight.

Bravo on the old man for not backing down.

I hope they fight and B Hop gets KO'd real good and stop this nonsense, either that or face Adonis the SUPERMANG STEVENSON and get Brutally KO'd !!!!

The best thang Bhopster can do is QUIT NOW while he has his brains.

Even with Hopkins at 48, Cleverly is the much easier fight. Hopkins knows how to survive and make it sloppy. Kovalev will roll right over Cleverly like he has everyone else. Not to mention I bet Golden Boy will produce some $ to help sway Kovalev towards choosing Cleverly.

the 175 lb ranks are being filled with big punching fighters...wow!

I'd rather see koralev-cleverly because we'd finally be able to measure how good cleverly really is

                  B-Hop: "I respect, accept the IBF's decision..."

                  Yes, yes, sure...

B-Hop forgot to mention that he also told Kovalev: "Look, son, we do the fight but I've got no money on the table whatsoever... And what purse did you say is Clev's Warren giving you, huh?"

I'm not seeing many posts about Kovalev beating Hopkins like in the previous ones.

I guess this fantasy was contingent upon Hopkins ducking Kovalev.

Guy who thinks Kovalev beats Hopkins- checking in.

Although the latest report is Hopkins wants To fight Adonis and wants Kovlaev to fight Cleverly. I hope Kovalevs camp chooses Hopkins over cleverly
