If he were 2 inches taller I'd say he could have done it with a good strength and conditioning coach, he's got the skills and his hand speed's remarkable. As it is he's probably too small.

By the time ruiz gets his first title shot the klits will be long gone so he has a great chance to accomplish this feat. He has the fastest hands in the heavy weight division with boxing skills

He need to build more muscle but leave the mass. He looks to be a very solid fighter. I would even say he is more skilled than Arreola. Not sure if he hits harder than Arreola but i have no doubt Ruiz if he keeps improving like he is doing, he going to fight for the title and he may have a great chance of winning by the time he is ready. So close with Arreola and now to my surprise here comes Ruiz, best of luck to him. I still remember Garcia can't remember his first name.

I like Ruiz very much ,BUT, w/those terribly quick hands & good power, he needs more strength and tone/muscle...he 's still 2 heavy...better opposition 2 get him into bouts beyond 5 rounds will help...he's got a shot @ a title once the klitches are gone...good match 4 him would b vs Chambers...
