So Vanes doesn't want to fight a rematch with Lara but some how gets a title shot before him. I got Andrade in this one.

I'm actually fairly interested in this fight. Andrade is good but Vanes is a guy who has been hovering around a title for quite some time. Whoever is hungrier will take this. It will be competitive and definitely worth a watch IMO.Comment

I've forgiven Vanes for the Angulo thing and don't see the need for the hate. He's one of the few fighters who was willing to fight Lara, unlike many of the cowards at 154.Last edited by DoktorSleepless; 06-18-2013, 04:54 PM.Comment

It's such a shame when you get rewarded for ducking.
I've got to give him credit for thatComment

So what? People back out of eliminators all the time. Vanes didn't. Mandated eliminators doesn't mean you're forced to do anything. Only time "mandated" has any reasonable meaning is when you hold the belt because you actually have something to lose.
Vanes was still injured. He didn't back out. And it's not as if anyone, especially the networks, would want a rematch anyway.Comment
