Their purses for the fight have nothing to do with you or your life and your only involvement in this is watching the fight, drink your beer and eat your greasy food.

We could approach this from a different perspective, maybe Lucas took the fight for 100k because is easy work? it's not like Garcia is going to bring anything special into the fight except that belt he was given by fighting washed up fighters?

If his only chance of getting the fight was to accept the low ball offer then that's the hardest part of the battle, the fight itself won't last more than 4 rounds. Garcia is not all that and honestly the only reason we are all waiting for Garcia to sign, is to witness the hype job sign to a fight which even he knows he can't win and put that belt on someone who deserves it. Right now Garcia has positioned himself for a mega payday against Mayweather in the not too distant future. Mattysse could be in line for that fight also and Al Haymon stands to benefit greatly from those fights. From Al Haymon's point of view Garcia Mattyssse does not make good business sense,he is better off keeping both fighters winning.

I box just for the love of it too, but these guys do it for a living. This is their job, a job they can only do for so long yet needs to pay their bills for the rest of their lives since many (like garcia) dont have anything to fall back on.
