Freedom I told you his definition of "top HW" and ours is pretty different.

Anyway, considering Wilder's resume this is a step in the right direction.

Sergey Lyakhovich is shot to pieces.

He's had just 6 fights in the past 7 years. He's lost 4 of the 6. He's been stopped in 3, including both of his past 2.

I hate the thought of Lyakhovich taking another beating, but that's what's going to happen.

Well, we all know Audley was a step up for Wilder. So would you say Lyakhovich is on the same level as Audley or lower?

Wilder is SLOWLY (very) stepping up while adding some names to his resume.

Honestly if wilder blasts out sergie in under 4 rounds, you have to make a james toney fight to give wilder some rounds...

Wilder has stopped every opponent and toney never been stopped.... Would be a great espn fight or foxsports or SHoBox

Actually lost for words though I sort of expected something like this.

Is this the top Russian HW they were talking about?
Can't wait to hear them justify him as legit.
"Oh, he almost won a title"
"Oh, he fought Valuev and went all 12"

I think they are waiting for Wlad to get old before stepping up. If they step up now and Wilder starts beating top contenders convincingly, there will be a demand for him to fight Wlad and I'm sure they don't want to look scared like Povetkin did for so long. Well, that's just one possibility. Maybe he's like Tye Fields and they know if he steps it up he will get beat. lol He's already beat Tyson and Marciano's record, its time for him to take that next step, instead it seems like padding his record is more important.

Dude, Wilder is not beating any top contenders,, I think fury, arreola, stiverne, etc would expose him..... I think they should keep feeding him old names like toney, rahman, golata, ruiz, etc till they land a klitchko... Wilder fights someone with a pulse he is getting put-out..
I do think he would ko seth mitchell but thats about it

He's definitely not very skilled, but his height and power could possibly take him farther than we think.

Wladimir has half of the division running scared. Once the belts are handed to a new champion, a long line of dormant HWs will come out of the woodwork to fight each other for the title shots.

Wilder is being kept miles away from the top guys. If contenders like Malik Scott would give Wilder hell, we don't want to imagine what Wladimir would do to him.
