Carl Froch may not have the prettiest style but no one can doubt his heart or toughness.
Out of everyone active today, he's the only one targeting legit opponents and fighting them. Can't say that for everyone. Not floyd, pacquiao, sergio, ward. No one but Froch.
He goes from Super 6 straight to Bute. Then rematches Kessler and still wants the best. He deserves respect. Regardless of style, dude has that old school mentality.

You are arguing a different point to me entirely. But still yes resumes are based on a multitude of things including consistency but you yourself said their resumes were very similar. So they are similar in consistency AND Ward has the better defining fights on it too. So whichever way you slice it Ward's resume comes off better. Anyway as I say even if you don't agree with any of that it doesn't matter as I am simply highlighting that he cannot have the best resume in boxing when the guy ranked above him in his division has a better one (if not a similar one) without even taking other weight divisions into account.
I can agree Froch doesn't have the best record in boxing, but do you agree he has had one of the hardest back to back runs in the sport?

Joe knew RJJ still had a lot left in the tank and took the fight to him. The same with the legendary Hopkins who is still proving he's a world class fighter by winning several tough fights after his beatdown by Joe.
