Why do people hate Danny Garcia?

I just don't understand it. Yeah we all know his dad is mouthy but Danny is a world class athlete that has beaten every opponent and with crushing ko's in some fights. I just don't get the hate.

Not as bemusing as your dislike for Froch. You rate Danny, but think Froch is overrated. Speaks volumes.

Cause hes not "supposed" to win but keeps finding a way kinda like cotto in his career and why so many people hated him.

People keep saying this when the only fight he "wasn't supposed to win" was against Khan. He's the favorite in every other fight, and was a huge favorite to stop Judah around here. It's clearly not true that he's never supposed to win.

I don't care how he dresses or plucks his eyebrows like some has pointed out...he mostly in entertaining fights which is more than I can say about most elite fighters...I think his dad is the one that is generating all the hate...nd his dad is a big mouth racist at times...selling Danny short with this type of hype...especially with the khan fight...to down play ur opponent is one thing...but to attack his race is out of line...dannys mostly humble...its his dad ppl really like less

Every commentator worth listening to agrees that he won both fights and lost them because they fought in their city. A mistake Lucas didn’t repeat when Peterson wanted to fight in his home town too. Not only did he win and got robbed, since then he’s improved, maybe fueled by anger and injustice? And is now ****ing opponents up. That being said, its just not cool that they stole those fights from him just because he wasn’t local.

My parting shot is if Matthyse is so much better and hits harder than Danny Garcia then why didn't he look as impressive against Judah? Judah was legitimately in survival mode 90% of the fight against Danny.

Can you guys really say the same about Judah when he fought Matthyse?

He won the in the eyes of most of us, and its not as if it’s the first time a boxer gets robbed like that. Had it been Danny they would have given his the Judah fight but that’s ok. Lucas is thankful for those fights though, now he knows he has to start on full murder mode rather than boxing. If they both face each other again it would be nice to see payback a la Martinez vs Paul Williams II.
