Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev: who wins?

More than African Americans, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans EVEN Argentinians, Eastern European fighters are the most hyped up fighters on this board. Bar none. Hopkins anally pillages Kovalev and teaches him an astute lesson about boxing.Comment

No not really.
Cloud is a guy who struggled with Yusuf Mack and got dominated by Campillo. The same Campillo that Kovalev polaxed.
Anyone with a grain of sense knew that Hopkins would have little trouble with Cloud because frankly Cloud is awful.Comment

If you look closely there are some subtle differences in the performances alright.

And that's precisely why people are over-hyping him. The Matthysse/GGG fanboyism is spilling over to other fighters. People are reaching, looking for these destroyer types and making them out to be more than they actually are.
I haven't even heard of this guy up until last week. Look at my sig, all the attention was on Adonis Stevenson since he did after all - KO the Light-Heavyweight Champ in Chad Dawson.

Skill for skill, who did this guy actually beat that displays his ability in a way that would make one think, "He can land these same punches on Hopkins too."
This is all hype at it's finest; Nobody is giving any sound reasoning/basis for why he would KO Hopkins, other than saying that he would "just because". Wishful thinking perhaps?
Alright, so he didn't yet struggle to a split decision victory the way Cloud did to make one doubt his abilities. Big deal. I'd like to see him face Ismail Sillakh (another hyped up fighter on this boards until he got KO'd) and put his abilities to the test, since Silakh is somewhat of a technician/mover like Hopkins.Comment

Matthysse clearly beat Alexander but was blatantly robbed.
His fight with Judah was closer, but he deserved to win that one too.Comment
