This dude is a hypejob who has beaten emaciated Garden Gnomes... he supposedly lost in the eyes of many people vs Ponce De Leon (A fight I have admittedly not seen...)l but I just saw him against Gavin Rees... A 5'4 midget who gave him problems. Although he whopped him eventually and he does have great punching power, he got hit way to much to even be considered to be on Floyd's level. He was no way in hell a lightweight and literally looked double the size of those tomato cans he fought. DON'T BE SUPRISED IF HE LOSES TO MALIGNAGGI. If Malignaggi doesn't take him someone else will... it's only a matter of time until he gets exposed by a busy high volume fighter.

I know I could be potentially eating my words big time and maybe I will/ maybe I won't. But I'm giving Paulie a big chance to provide the upset on this one. People laugh at his punching power but his punches at 147 look like they have a lot more sting and pop in them.. Plus he has still got the handspeed and tremendous footwork, not to mention a solid chin. Malignaggi is a very underrated fighter. He looked as impressive against Senchenko as he did in his fight against Cotto..

I disagree. 1st off after the PDL fight I told everyone to settle down on the hating because PDL is a Southpaw and alot of guys struggle with Southpaws. I said he would look 10x better against a righty and in the next fight he KO Litzau in the 1st.

People overrate the Rees fight. I was there live and you can tell that Broner hd no respect for him. Its not like he was trying to defend himself but Rees was landing. It was moreso that Broner didnt care about anything Rees had. He basically just let him hit him because he knew he could walk right through it and deliver big shots.

He wont fight like that against other guys. You saw how he dominated Demarco. You say he's big but there are a ton of guys in boxing who is fighting at smaller weights to gain advantages but no one cares then so why get upset at Broner?

Even then he was just at SFW 2 fights ago and now is fighting 3 divisions higher. Thats a big deal. He also moved alot more in his early fights and has been hanging around Floyd's gym a ton so dont be shcoked if you see him against Paulie or definitely the next fight start to box on his toes alot more.

Sure he may lose but that doesnt mean he's overrated. He can lose because all of these guys are pretty good fighters. It wouldnt be a total shock for him to basically jump up 3 divisons and lose to Paulie. Even moreso it wouldnt be a shock to see him lose to Lucas, Garcia, Peterson, Ghost, etc...

All of those guys are good and there is no shame in losing to them.

If he whups Paul's ass, people would just say it's expected. We all know
why they picked Malignaggi. Paul is expected to lose.

Unlike fights like Garcia/Matthysse, Canelo/Trout, etc., they can define
fighters in one way or the other.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Even the midget gave him a hard time! jeje He’s been collecting so many tomato cans, Broner should open his own Walmart.
I wouldnt be surprised if Paulie beats him either.

He tries doing the shoulder thing like Floyd but its pathetic, punches land on him all the time, he only KOs total nobodys, has no power in those crappy punches. The guy doesnt even know how to stand properly in the ring.

This guy should have 2 losses on his record and has been in the ring with people MUCH smaller than him. He very well could have the potential to be the real thing and a star in the sport, but ATM, I believe him to be a product of hype.

Paulie has the speed to land all day long on Broner and he does have the chin. Problem is, Paulie is shot, his legs were terrible VS Cano.

I wouldn't be surprised if Paulie gets TKO'd, but at the same time I would.

Broner could be the truth, or simply just an offensive fighter who can beat up bums but not the best.
