i can assure you that kovalev won't be an easy fight for hopkins. he might win, but he's not simply going to outclass kovalev. kovalev has real power, but he's also got good footspeed and boxing abilities.

i don't think hopkins will take the fight. if hopkins is a heavy favorite, take kovalev. eventually hopkins is going to get hit with punches he used to take, and go down. he is almost 50.

Workrate, combos, power, footwork. Dangerous fight for the Executioner, I am sure he is gonna get Kayod.

Thing is he seems to treat every fight like that. If you look at GGG say, he'll spend a round or two feeling his opponents out. Patient, methodical, seeing what they've got then breaking them down.

With Crusher. it's like he doesn't care who's in front of him. He comes out swinging, and when hi, bombs start landing his opponents get rocked - whatever fight plans they might have had just seem to dribble outta their ears. It seems almost reckless to me, but it's ****in working for him isn't it? And it's great to watch.

We've just seen him smash 2 legit top 10s around like they were being paid to make him look good.

Kovalev would be a difficult opponent but I'm confident that Hopkins would beat him. He knows how to break guys rhythm and cut down their workrate.

I don't think Hopkins would decide to pick someone like Kovalev to fight though, he knows that is a huge risk for him. I think I would pick Kovalev to win that fight if it ever happened. He's got the hand speed, power, footwork and gameplan to give Hopkins hell.

Eventually Hop's gonna get KO'd by somebody, it's only a matter of time. I think Kovalev would be the one to do it atm.

This is why I doubt B hop fights this guy, not only does this guy have fast footwork, good stamina, high work rate, unpredictable combo punching from angles and power and speed, he is trained by John David Jackson who worked with Hopkins and knows him like a book.

He is a student of the game, if he picks this savage I will be shocked but I will also respect him more.

Also Sergey Kovalev is trained by John David Jackson who used to co train B hop, so Hopkins is not going to go anywhere near this kid since he will have an advantage of having someone who knows B hops secrets and techniques.

Look at this kids footwork he gets in an out, and has a killer instinct that other B hop opponents haven't had, he mixes up his power combos throws punches in different angles reminds me of Manny Pacquiao a bit, body and head or he takes whatever you will give him from biceps, shoulders, forearms he just keeps attacking and bounces right out, he is hard to time very light on his feet. If B hop beats this guy he should retire on top this would be the most amazing feat, beating a drunk slow plodding Kelly Pavlik is nothing, since his style was tailor made for B hop, but beating a fast guy with high punch output like Sergey will make his critics eat their words.

Pretty good fighter. However none of that would work against Hopkins.

Unloading combos like that works on stationary fighters. It's interesting though, a lot of new names and faces from Adonis Stevenson to this guy, whom I just heard about.

                    Sure thing, bro.

We're all waiting for B-Hop to get KO'd. I, for one, cannot wait.

I'm fed up of this bore cherrypicking, and when he loses a fight making up bull**** excuses. "I was robbed!".

                    Retire already, Bernard.
