Yeah I lump the two together. If a guy can't make the weight he should be given a tougher penalty. Mikey knew well before the way in how far out he would be. Simply being stripped of a title and being fined 100k isn't enough for the A side, Mikey earned enough that the fine won't make a huge dent. Mikey should be suspended. Might sound extreme but it cuts out any further ****.

If a fighter is having trouble making weight they should move up to the next weight class rather than come in heavy on purpose and fight a smaller lighter guy that really does belong in that weight class. With a new weight class every 5 pounds or so there is a proper weight class for all fighters. If they are big for the weight but still make weight then I have no problem with that. They are playing within the rules.
