Also, I don't think Garcia attempted to use the 2 hours to drop the 2 pounds. I could be wrong, but I thought he said that during one of his talking segments.
If you think it's different, I'd love to hear the reason.
I'm sure the predominant reason was he was sick before the fight.
Then again, Broner could have been sick too and didn't want to say anything about it.

Easy to say. I doubt you run 8miles a day trying to shed weight. The fact is you can't force your body to make a weight where it's not suited. Look at rios who looks dead almost all his fights. It's not healthy dude. If he couldn't make weight then give him a pass. If he does it again you have the right to criticize. Things happen

True, they're both outgrowing their division. But they're champions in that division. I guess it's just me, but they're held to a higher standard than other boxers, or at least should be.
The fact they're outgrowing their division didn't just pop up when they were overweight either. I'm fairly sure that they know they're too big and they're just looking for that last fight they can do before they absolutely must move up.
I think in Garcia's case he could maybe make 126 again, but Broner probably will never make 130 again.
