With Ward I think he's underpromoted moreso than mismanaged. He's arguably the #2pfp fighter in the sport and yet is still pretty unknown amongst casual fans. The best thing for his career at the moment would be to take a rematch with Froch in the UK. This is one of the biggest fights that can be made right now as long as its held in the UK.

1. He hasn't beaten any stars, and
2. He's not a knockout artist.
To become a mainstream star you need some stars to beat and Ward doesn't have anyone who can elevate his status in the US.Comment

The dude has to beg people he already beat for a payday. The fact he achieved all of this and STILL isn't known outside of hardcore fans, or STILL isn't earning anything more than fighters nowhere near his level is the definition of mismanaged.
Fight away from home, get him TV/magazine interviews, say something controversial once in a while, call big names out, do ANYTHING to build his profile and try to win over some more fans. His manager has done nothing, literally fuck all.Comment

Is underpromoting somebody not the same as mismanaging them? With Ward I think he's underpromoted moreso than mismanaged. A better manager would have promoted him more, so it's still bad management no matter how you look at it.Comment

He fought Fury, Helenius, Klitschko Haye almost in a row, now he's fighting Malik Scott. Too much, too early IMO. Guy has some balls no doubt about that, but after Helenius he should've fight at least 3-4 less known opponents, not 2 TOP3 fighters. If Scott will beat him Chisora will become glorified journeyman. Warren didn't give him a chance to grow in confidence and skills. That weekend in Germany was the begining of the end.Last edited by Szef; 06-15-2013, 05:14 PM.Comment

Lara and rigondeaux
Both dudes can fight Lara was not in a boring fight against Angulo and Rigondeaux is plain awesome.
I dont see any hype from the promoters towards theses fighters which are very good. They can play many cards with them like the whole cuba thing the Olympics story, show off there talent with suited opponents but noooooooooooo
They say they dont have a flash to them and let them vanishComment
