I've only seen fedosov twice. He beat lionel butler & i have the whitaker fight. He's got some fight in him but he's not going to get above journeyman status. He should get some fights based out of vegas. Jennings looks the part but that chin is still in question. That reach continues to be a huge advantage...

Fedosov shouldn't have pulled out of that fight. Considering he could still see out of that eye, was probably up on the cards, and there was only 4 rounds to go, he should have just hung in there. A win against Jennings really would have lifted his status.

Mayeather, JMM, Pac, Wlad, Vitali, Ward are all guys who don't worry about making weight and do not regain more than a couple pounds after the weigh in.

The perceived advantage of rehydrating 20 lbs is one of the biggest myths in boxing.

Problem with that theory is that you need to be extra special in some areas to succeed. All of those listed are great at something.

None of them would be as good as they are if they boiled down to an artificially low weight.

Ward wouldn't be as good at JMW as he is at SMW if he killed himself, made 154 and rehydrated to 175 on fight night for 4 years running.

The way some of these guys like Angulo and Chavez cut weight is beyond ridiculous. They probably have a harder time making their weights than Mayweather would making 135 again.

Nice win by Jennings but stop fighting bums.

Kovalev looked dominant. Power in both hands, able to work behind the jab, and showed good footwork in cutting off the ring. Future champ.

Jennings took care of business and maintained his standing as a top rated American heavyweight. Nice fight card, NBC!

Very impressed with Kovalev's performance. His offensive game is incredible; he's a quick starter, he's got speed, power, accuracy, output, variety and is a great finisher. I'm no sold on his defense but he seems to be force to be reckoned with.

Wasn't overly impressed with Jennings' performance. He seems to have 'flashes of greatness' but not frequently enough for me. Also, I was disappointed that the fight was stopped so early - it didn't look like Fedosov's eye was that impaired and he was doing good work against Bryant.
