I would love to know if those were actually Landy's words, and not those of his manager. I'm impressed. In any event, if that stuff about rehydration is true, that's some scumbag shit to do. And I agree about Schaefer. I was shaking my head over those post-fight comments he had about "his" fighter. How can you make comments like that about someone you're supposed to be promoting?

As far as Angulo goes, I agree with Landy. Alfredo chose not to continue in a fight where it turned out he hadn't suffered any injuries. He wasn't thumbed, either. Then he goes and makes unnecessary comments after the fact. Is Lara supposed to honor that, especially when there's no benefit to fighting Angulo again? Peace....

Yeah. I would like to see Schaefer make the same $3M offer to Rigondeaux. They were taunting Donaire for not accepting the offer after the fight. Well, Rigo beat Donaire. I would expect them to make the same offer. You can't underestimate the selling potential of this fight (Mares/Rigo). I mean who is there for Mares that would sell more? I'm sure Arum would be happy to rent Rigo to GBP.

rigo has 0 to no fans.. POS Arum said it himself.. only reason why they offered 3mill is cause of the popularity of nonito and mares.. with that said I don't think they'll risk mares vs rigo.. even though mares has stated he'd fight him.. but I wouldn't mind seeing it.. I think mares doesn't get enough credit for boxing.. nonito looked for big shots vs slick rigo.. I think mares pressures too much and lands more.. just my opinion..

And more open to the shots coming back at him, he was hurt against PDL in a few ocassions specially in the final rounds, Rigondeaux would hit that body and chin so hard that mares will think twice about rushing, same happened to donaire, in the fris round he got stunned and felt Rigondeaux power and he became gun shy the rest of the contest...
